Job Description:
An Application Support Engineer will provide a flexible service that identifies and resolves problems in critical business systems, much like a software detective. Working with team members to solve issues, monitoring system performance, and making sure communication and collaboration tools run smoothly are all part of your normal workday. You will interact with users to learn about their problems and try to find workable answers. This will increase the general effectiveness of corporate operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in your field by working on your own.
  • Engage in team conversations with energy.
  • Assist in finding answers to issues pertaining to the job.
  • Create, set up, implement, and support Cisco IP telephony systems (such as Expressway, Unity, and CUCM).
  • Manage and provide support for Genesys Contact Center (on-premises or cloud) solutions.
  • Cooperate with international suppliers and internal groups to guarantee seamless cross-regional communication services.
  • Track, diagnose, and resolve intricate contact center and phone problems.
  • Manage the integration of phone systems with other company apps, such as ticketing and CRM systems.
  • Provide assistance and oversight for video conferencing systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, Cisco Webex).
  • Ensure that systems adhere to the company’s security standards and telecom legislation.
  • Participate in telecom transformation, migration, and worldwide rollouts.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures and maintain it up to date.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Unified Communication and Collaboration Operations are essential skills. practical knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, Expressway, UCCX).
  • demonstrated proficiency with the Genesys Contact Center systems (Cloud CX, PureCloud, PureEngage, etc.).
  • strong knowledge of network protocols, telecom infrastructure, VoIP, SIP, and QoS.
  • familiarity with international telecom and conference providers.
  • knowledge of video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Polycom, and Cisco Webex.
  • outstanding intellectual and problem-solving abilities.
  • strong ability to handle stakeholders and communicate.
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced, multivendor, global setting.
